When I am struggling to find clarity and peace, sometimes I just need a bit of space from a situation to let the muddy water settle and get back to that safe part of my mind where I can hear that quiet voice of the Creator, get a clear perspective, own what I belongs to me, draw healthy boundaries and still flow outwardly to others. Amazing what a walk in the woods or a some gravel road therapy does.
Headspace –
This world keeps pushin’
Just won’t let me be
Walls are closing in
I can hardly breathe
Just need to find some space
Where I can clear my head
The words you speak are
Shackles on my mind
Make me doubt
Any truth I find
Just need to find some space
Where I can clear my head
I’ve got to run
Away from here
To find that place
Where I hear God’s voice
Speak to me now
Show me your way
Give me the strength
To move on
Your gold, your cars
Your shiny diamond rings
No longer care to
run after such things
You rob the poor (and)
Make kings out of thieves
Eliminate those who
Speak of what they see
Just need to find some space
Where I can clear my head
I’ve got to run
Away from here
To find that place
Where I hear God’s voice
Speak to me now
Show me your way
Give me the strength
To move on
Just need to find some space where I can clear my head
